HIGH SCHOOL BOWLING TEAMS
Find out why bowling is a
sport that lasts a lifetime. Bowing is the fastest-growing high school
sport this decade
and continues to gain more participation every year that it is
offered.
Bowling also gives students an opportunity to become involved with their
high schools,
teaches fundamentals for a lifetime sport and helps athletes earn
scholarships and bowl in college.
The purpose of the Wisconsin High School (WHS) Bowling Club will be to provide
high school students an opportunity to
experience the spirit of the team
competition and community pride while participating in a sport they can enjoy
for the
rest of their lives, and allows any bowler, without regard to race, sex,
or physical challenge, an opportunity to participate
within a team environment.
It will provide sanctioned high school bowling competition as defined by the
USBC
and will provide an opportunity for student’s bowlers to meet bowlers from
other schools and travel to other bowling club facilities.
Towne & Country Lanes is proud to be the home of the
Burlington High Scool Girls, JV and Varsity Bowling Teams.
Unfortunately, there will not be a Catholic Central Varsity Bowling Team this year.
But, for those of you who currently attend or are going to be freshman next year,
start practicing now so we can rebuild the team next season!
The BHS girls team head coach is Danielle Engel.
The BHS Varsity & JV head coach is Mike Engel, assisted by Nick Longo.
The Wisconsin High School Bowling Club is divided into 12 individual districts. We belong to District 3A.
